About Founder

Manoj Singla
A practicing physician with postgraduate degrees in Surgery and Internal Medicine, Manoj was born into a Sanātana Hindu Vaiṣṇava family and was introduced to Vedic wisdom at an early age by his grandmother. By the age of four, he began learning foundational spiritual teachings in his remote village in India. Regular participation in satsang and Krishna-kathā inspired in him a lifelong love for spiritual knowledge.
At twelve, he joined a Gurukulam, receiving structured scriptural education alongside his formal studies. He later completed medical school and postgraduate training, gaining deep understanding of the material body through his profession.
Despite professional success, his search for deeper purpose continued. Through ISKCON devotees, he encountered the teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda and, by Krishna’s arrangement, received initiation from HH Rādhā-Govinda Mahārāja and became his disciple in Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava sampradāya (ISKCON).
As the founder of this Gurukulam mission is dedicated to giving children clarity, conviction, and a knowledge-based faith, nurturing in them both spiritual understanding and strong character. He is lovingly supported in this sacred work by his wife, Monika Singla, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist by profession, who was also born into a Sanātana Hindu Vaiṣṇava family.
A devoted Krishna bhakta, she plays an active role in the children’s daily formation—teaching language, bhajans, and devotional practices, while gently guiding their behavior and spiritual habits. Beyond instruction, she cares for the students with affection and attentiveness, embodying the nurturing presence of Guru Mātā and helping create a homely, devotional atmosphere within the mission.
Together, as parents raising a Krishna-conscious child, they remain dedicated to nurturing the next generation through spiritual education.
